Role Description

We are seeking a strategic Volunteer Marketing Specialist to elevate RISE2GETHER’s presence across social and digital platforms. In this role, you will develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies on Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube to grow awareness and engagement. You will plan, draft, and publish content — including posts, videos, and event highlights — that reflect RISE2GETHER’s mission and authentic community voice. By managing content calendars, optimizing storytelling for each platform, and engaging directly with our online audience, you will help build a strong, connected, and inspired global community. Your work will play a vital role in amplifying RISE2GETHER’s mission to empower Asian women through visibility, storytelling, and connection.

Responsibilities

As a Volunteer Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube to grow awareness and engagement

  • Plan, draft, and publish content (posts, short videos, livestream updates, community highlights) aligned with RISE2GETHER’s brand voice

  • Manage content calendars, ensuring timely coverage of events, panels, and campaigns

  • Optimize content for different platforms (e.g., storytelling on Xiaohongshu, professional tone for LinkedIn, visual focus for Instagram, long-form video for YouTube)

  • Engage with online community by responding to comments, messages, and creating interactive content

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who bring most of the following:

  • Experience managing at least 2 of the following platforms: Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube

  • Strong copywriting skills in both English and Chinese preferred

  • Familiarity with design/editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut) a plus

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to adapt messages across different audiences
