Role Description

We are seeking a creative Volunteer Graphic Designer to join our team and help bring RISE2GETHER’s mission to life through powerful visual storytelling. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our marketing, events, and design teams to create digital and print assets that strengthen our brand identity and engage our community. From social media graphics and event posters to presentations and newsletters, your designs will play a key role in amplifying our message and building a cohesive, inspiring presence. Your contributions will directly support our mission of empowering Asian women by ensuring that every visual touchpoint reflects our values of inclusivity, strength, and connection.

Responsibilities

As a Volunteer Graphic Designer, you will:

  • Create visual assets for digital and print, including event posters, social media graphics, slide decks, newsletters, and marketing collateral.

  • Develop and maintain brand identity systems (logos, typography, color palettes).

  • Support website and UI visuals in collaboration with the UX / UI designers.

  • Design layouts for presentations, print ads, and digital signage.

  • Ensure all visuals align with RISE2GETHER’s voice and mission.

  • Collaborate with marketing and event teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who bring most of the following:

  • Experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.

  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Solid time management and ability to meet deadlines in a volunteer setting.

  • Passion for RISE2GETHER’s mission and an interest in supporting the Asian women’s community.
