Role Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Volunteer Event Planning & Logistics Coordinator to support the seamless execution of RISE2GETHER’s in-person and hybrid events. In this role, you will manage end-to-end logistics — from venue coordination, catering, and AV setup to registration and on-site materials — ensuring every event runs smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with vendors, venues, and volunteers to oversee event setup and breakdown, track timelines and budgets, and anticipate operational needs. Your work will play a key role in creating high-quality, impactful experiences that bring the RISE2GETHER community together and amplify our mission of empowering Asian women.

Responsibilities

As a Volunteer Event Planning & Logistic Coordinator, you will:

  • Handle end-to-end logistics for RISE2GETHER events (venues, catering, AV setup, materials, registration, etc.).

  • Manage event timelines and ensure all operational details run smoothly.

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and volunteers on setup and breakdown.

  • Track budgets and resource needs for each event.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who bring most of the following:

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized; can manage multiple moving parts.

  • Prior experience in event operations, logistics, or project coordination a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to unexpected changes.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
