Through our annual summit, leadership programs, member community, AI hackathons, and both online and offline workshops, we provide resources, support networks, and actionable tools that empower Asian women to break barriers, lead with confidence, and thrive.
Role Description
We are seeking a creative and driven Event Planning Coordinator to shape and deliver meaningful experiences for the RISE2GETHER community. In this role, you will develop innovative event concepts that align with our mission and address the evolving needs of Asian women. You will take ownership of each event from ideation through execution, collaborating closely with logistics and outreach teams to ensure cohesive delivery. Beyond execution, you will evaluate event impact, gather feedback, and apply insights to continuously improve future programs. Your work will play a vital role in curating inspiring, high-quality events that foster connection, growth, and empowerment within our community.
Responsibilities
As a Volunteer Event Planning Coordinator (Programming & Execution), you will:
Develop new event ideas that align with RISE2GETHER’s mission and community needs.
Take ownership of event concepts from planning through execution (“落地” — making sure they actually happen).
Collaborate with logistics and outreach leads to ensure cohesive delivery.
Evaluate event impact and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who bring most of the following:
Creative thinker with a passion for programming community or career events.
Demonstrated ability to move ideas from concept to execution.
Strong organizational skills and accountability for deliverables.
Experience in event planning, program management, or community organizing preferred.
