Through our annual summit, leadership programs, member community, AI hackathons, and both online and offline workshops, we provide resources, support networks, and actionable tools that empower Asian women to break barriers, lead with confidence, and thrive.
Role Description
We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Creative Product Designer to join our team and help translate RISE2GETHER’s mission into meaningful merchandise and event goods. In this role, you will design apparel, accessories, and commemorative items that celebrate our community, from Swag Shop products like T-shirts and tote bags to event-specific designs for the Asian Women Summit and workshops. You will collaborate with marketing, events, and design teams to ensure that every product reflects our brand identity while resonating with our members. Your work will directly support our mission of empowering Asian women by creating tangible products that foster pride, belonging, and connection within the community.
Responsibilities
As a Volunteer Creative Product Designer, you will:
Design branded merchandise including T-shirts, tote bags, stickers, and other products for RISE2GETHER Swag Shop.
Create event-specific designs (e.g., Asian Women Summit T-shirts, workshop giveaways, and commemorative items).
Ensure merchandise designs align with RISE2GETHER’s brand identity and messaging.
Collaborate with marketing, event, and design teams to integrate merchandise with campaign and event branding to deliver cohesive visuals.
Work with vendors and printers to prepare production-ready files and ensure high-quality outputs.
Research trends in community merchandise, fashion, and cultural storytelling to keep designs fresh and appealing.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who bring most of the following:
Experience in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design tools.
Passion for creating tangible products that embody RISE2GETHER’s mission and values.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Solid time management and ability to meet deadlines in a volunteer setting.
